So cool she is talking about writing Swing Time.
Not everything needs to be drama, drama all the time! You can be extremely creative without having all those conflicts.
😊
Such a lovely, touching tour. I recently submitted an application, and hope I can experience some of this in person. Thank you for making this.
SHE'S A BEAUTIFUL SOUL & HAS AN AWESOME VOICE, HOPE SHE LIVES & SINGS FOR MANY YEARS .......

Yes :) that's a fact + I am proud to be a part of it :)
We Live in Cairo was so good!
Tolle Musik und eine tolle Frau.
I've been a big fan of Rosanne since "Seven Year Ache" and it's always a pleasure to hear her music. Thank you!
Tolle Sängerin
Thank you, Blake, for sharing! Even through a video, the "spiritualness" comes through. I'm sure the MacDowell's spirits (and every artist who has ever been to MacDowell) lives on in every crevice of the land. It's simply an artist's "dream environment" (if only for a little while). I hope I'm able to become a part of such a wonderful legacy and universe of hope. ❤❤
Brownies were only part of Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and UK Girl Guides. I don't think there were "Brownies" groups within the United States' Girl Guides organization.
Who is Michael Chabon?
ok, is his hair purple?
So nice to hear you both talk about your process. It's reassuring to learn how close the fears, obstacles and break-throughs are so similar in both of your bodies of work. I hear myself in your voices. Congratulations on your awards. Thank you for making the world a beautiful place. ❤
Good job
Is that a zither, an unusual sound
Thanks for watching, Sky High. The instrument Firas is playing is called a kanun, or qanun.
❤
Be quiet MC!!
Love this!!!

I just submitted my application. . .wish I would have watched Blake prior to my submission. I love his sense of spirit, and his way of indirectly keeping everyone else's spirit grounded to the land. . .I do hope to meet you one day, my friend. . .thank you for creating this!
I am just now getting down to listen to "She Remembers Everything." I bought it out of the gate. My cd player flipped and broke. I am deaf so it is and was a huge challenge for a non=techie to find out. how to listen to music without a bona fide cd player. 4 years on I've got it playing on my phone with a headset linked to it. The lyrics I have on my laptop, and am looking. (This award of course, well deserved. I need to read up on it.,lyrics are essential to have) This is a real treat for me. Big Fan, my first country song I really loved was seven year ache. Etta's Tune and The Wheel, will be on my deathbed mix. Underrated of course. I think many people just don't have the cultural literacy to understand her. She does not write for the masses, even her huge hits have a bent to them, few artists achieve. The Interiors album my '"go to" when I am remembering failed love.
nice conversation
What a joy. Thank you Blake for letting us ride along! Takes me back to a special time there.
Sister Sonia Sanchez, a National Treasure.
Thank you, Blake. This was wonderful.
We love you so much, Blake! Thank you for trying so valiantly to help me figure out how to light the fire in my little New Jersey studio.
Thank you so much, Dear Blake, for this wonderful tour which brought back such good memories. What a wonderful place, MacDowell.
The footage of these special places and Blake's voice bring tears to my eyes. "A place of creation...and re-creation." He's right. MacDowell is a treasure.
Beautiful! A Transformative place I'm sure! (~also I hope that deer was able to heal and be healthy again)

I like Scorsese's expression when this other guy is talking.
So many talented singer-songwriters while the radio plays nothing but electronic bizz- buzz music.
MacDowell, can we see these three again sometime? Please??? 🙏

Beautiful words
I just found this but I now have a question. Why does it feel like they are staring into my soul…like, I don’t mind but like…why is KO just staring into my soul?
